Felix Kitaka is based in Kampala, Uganda. In 2009, he made the decision to leave the traditional academic path, wanting to prove there was more than one way to succeed without a degree. His path took him from being a university dropout in Uganda to becoming a global consultant within about ten years. He later worked as a Senior Software Engineer, remotely, at Headspace, a San Francisco-based mental health company, from 2021 to 2023.

He is co-founder and CEO of Audersity Studios, a technology and media company. In December 2024, he began focusing intensively on AI, which led him to build LugandaGPT, described as the first Luganda voice assistant and Audersity's flagship product.

As a writer, he authored The Story of Mutambuze: From University Dropout in Uganda to Global Consultant in 10 Years, a memoir written during the COVID-19 lockdown, and The Woman's Bait, a series on marital drama, four years into his marriage.
