Benard N. Nakireza is a legal practitioner who has worked at the intersection of law and technology, being an early adopter of AI both at BarefootLaw (that uses AI and other technology to offer free legal information to the public) as well as the role he played as OTIC's Head of Business Development (where he evangelised enterprise adoption of AI upskilling and deployment). Currently, he is the team lead at The mSME Garage Ltd, a brainchild of BarefootLaw, where he oversees a bevy of clientele that needs legal support as they adjust their posture for growth, advising on aspects of technology, intellectual property, and private equity. In his free time, he coaches AI startups with ACAID, helping them understand the power of maximising data and AI for growth.
